ドライブ、ドリブンスプロケットの歯の摩耗、損傷を点検する。
Check for damage and wear to the drive and driven sprockets.



スプロケット又はチェンを交換する時は、同時にセット交換すること。
When replacing the chain or sprocket, replace them both as a set.



ドライブ、ドリブンスプロケット取付けボルトのゆるみ点検する。
ゆるみのある場合は締付けを行う。

Check for looseness in the mounting bolts for the drive and driven sprockets.
If there is looseness present, tighten them.

チェン、スプロケットカバーを取付ける。
Install the chain and sprocket cover.



マスターリンクのクリップの合口は、チェンの進行方向の逆に向けて取付けること。
The fitting end of the master link clip should be installed facing the opposite
direction of the chain travel.



ドライブチェンにきれいなギヤオイル（＃８０～９０）を給油する。
チェンの遊びを調整する。
ブレーキペダルの遊びを調整する。（->３ー６頁）

Lubricate the drivechain with clean gear oil (#80-90).
Check the play in the chain.
Check the play in the brake pedal. (See page 3-6)

＜点火プラグの状態＞
<Spark Plug Condition>



スパークプラグを取外す。
プラグの損傷、汚れ、堆積物を点検する。
汚れ、堆積物のある場合は、プラグクリーナ、またはワイヤブラシで清掃する。

Detach the spark plugs.
Check for spark plug damage, dirtiness, or sediment buildup.
If a plug is dirty or has sediment buildup, use plug cleaner or a wire brush
to clean it.



指定プラグ：NGK：B8ES（B7ES、B9ES）
Specified plugs: NGK:B8ES (B7ES, B9ES)

ND：W24ES-U（W22ES-U、W27ES-U）
ND:W24ES-U (W22ES-U, W27ES-U)



プラグ隙間を０・７～０・８mmに調整する。
Adjust spark plug gap to 0.7-0.8 mm.



プラグの締付けは、指で一杯に締付けてからハンドルを用いて締付ける。
Tightening a plug is done by tightening fully by hand then tightening with
the handle.



隙間、汚れ、堆積物を点検する
Check gap, dirtiness, sediment buildup
