ブレーキレバー

＜遊び＞
<Play>

フロントブレーキレバーの遊びを点検する。
Check the play in the front brake lever.

	ブレーキレバーの遊び：１０～２０mm
	Brake lever play: 10-20mm

ブレーキケーブルの劣化、損傷およびねじれを点検する。
ハンドルが全ての向きでブレーキアームがスムースに作動することを点検する。
Check for deterioration, damage, or twisting of the brake cable.
Check that brake arm operation is smooth when the handlebars are
fully turned.

ブレーキレバー遊びの主調整はブレーキドラム側で行う。
ブレーキケーブルクランプのボルトをゆるめる。
ケーブルのロックナットをゆるめ、アジャスタを回して遊びの調整を行う。
ブレーキケーブルクランプのボルトを締付ける。
The main adjustment of brake lever play is made at the brake drum side.
Loosen the brake cable clamp bolt. Loosen the cable locknut and turn the
adjuster to check and adjust the play. Then retighten the brake cable
clamp bolt.

微調整は、ブレーキレバーホルダ部で行う。
ロックナットをゆるめ、アジャスタを回して遊びの調整を行う。
Small adjustments are carried out with the brake lever holder.
Loosen the locknut and turn the adjuster to adjust the play.

	アジャスタのネジ部を８mm以上出さないこと。
	The twisting part of the adjuster should be no more than 8mm out.

アジャスタを調整しても、規定の遊びが得られない場合または、
スムースな作動が得られない場合はブレーキケーブルを交換する。
If the specified amount of play cannot be obtained even after adjustment,
or if smooth operation cannot be obtained, then replace the brake cable.
