Engine Installation and Removal



エンジン下部をジャッキなどで支える。
コード、ケーブル類をまとめ、エンジン降ろしの際にかみ込まないようにする。
フロントエンジンハンガのマウントボルト４本を外し、ハンガを取外す。
アッパエンジンマウントボルトを抜取る。
リヤエンジンマウントボルト２本を抜取り、レギュレータステーを取外す。

Support the lower part of the engine with a jack or similar.
Collect togther all cords and cables so that they do not get caught up when
the engine is lowered.
Undo the four front engine hanger mount bolts, and remove the hanger.
Take out the upper engine mount bolts.
Take out the two rear engine mount bolts, then remove the regulator stay.

エンジン本体をフレームより取外す。
Remove the main engine unit from the frame.



エンジンマウントカラーを紛失しないように注意すること。
Take care to ensure you do not lose the engine mount collars.

エンジンの取付け
Engine installation



取付けは取外しの逆手順にて行う。
For installation, carry out the removal instructions in reverse order.



・コード、ケーブル類を破損させないよう注意する。
・フレーム各部、ボルト、ネジ部に傷を付けないよう注意する。
・エンジンマウントカラーの取付け忘れのないように注意する。
・ケーブル、チューブ及びハーネス類は正しい位置を通すこと。（->２ー１９頁）

- Take care to causing damage to cords and cables.
- Take care not to damage the frame, bolts, or threads.
- Take care not to forget to install the engine mount collars.
- Cables, tubes, and harnesses must be passed through at the correct positions.

締付けトルク：
Tightening torque:

シフトペダルピボットボルト			０・８～１・２kg-m		（ネジロック塗布）
Shift pedal pivot bolt			0.8-1.2 kg-m		(Apply threadlock)

エキゾーストパイプ/チャンバマウントボルト	２・４～３・０kg-m
Exhaust pipe/chamber mount bolt		2.4-3.0 kg-m

エキゾーストパイプフランジナット		１・８～２・５kg-m
Exhaust pipe flange nut			1.8-2.5 kg-m

サイレンサマウントボルト			１・０～１・４kg-m
Muffler mount bolt			1.0-1.4 kg-m

スキッドプレートマウントボルト		２・４～３・０kg-m
Skid plate mount bolt			2.4-3.0 kg-m



レギュレータステー

リヤエンジンマウントボルト（アッパ、１０mm）３・５～４・５kg-m
Rear engine mount bolt (Upper, 10mm) 3.5-4.5 kg-m

リヤエンジンマウントボルト（ロア、１０mm）５・５～６・５kg-m
Rear engine mount bolt (Lower, 10mm) 5.5-6.5 kg-m

アッパエンジンマウントボルト（８mm）２・４～３・０kg-m
Upper engine mount bolt (8mm) 2.4-3.0 kg-m

フロントエンジンハンガボルト（８mm）２・４～３・０kg-m
Front engine hanger bolt (8mm) 2.4-3.0 kg-m

取付け後、下記の点検、調整を行う。
・トランスミッションオイルを注入する。（->３ー１０頁）
・クラッチレバーの遊び（->３ー９頁）
・ドライブチェンの張り（->３ー１０頁）
・エンジン潤滑経路のエア抜き（->４ー７頁）
・オイルポンプコントロールケーブルの調整（->３ー１７頁）
・各部からの液およびオイル漏れの有無について

After installation, carry out the following checks and adjustments.
- Fill transmission oil. (See page 3-10)
- Clutch lever play (See page 3-9)
- Drive chain tension (See page 3-10)
- Bleeding air from engine lubrication paths (See page 4-7)
- Oil pump control cable adjustment (See page 3-17)
- Fluid and oil leaks from each part
