＜点火時期＞
<Ignition Timing>
C.D.I.装置を使用しているので、点火時期調整は必要ない。
点火時期が狂っている場合は、C.D.I.ユ二ット、A.C.ジエネータを点検し、不良なら交換する。

Due to use of the CDI unit, ignition timing adjustment is unnecessary.
Should ignition timing malfunction, check the CDI unit and AC generator, and
if they are defective replace them. (See chapter 13)
エンジンを暖機した後、L.クランクケースカバーを取外す。
タイミングライトをハイテンションコードに接続する。
エンジン回転計を取付ける。
After warming up the engine, remove the left crankcase cover.
Connect the timing light to the high voltage cable.
Fit an engine tachometer.

エンジンを始動し、エンジン回転数とA.C.ジェネレータローターのマークを確認する。
エンジン回転数が３０００rpm以下のとき”F"マークがクランクケースの合わせマークに合っていること。
エンジン回転数が、約３５００rpmのとき”F"マークが動き始め、遅角を開始すること。
エンジン回転数が、約６０００rpmのとき、リタードマークの範囲内にクランクケースの合わせタークが
合っていること。
上記の各点検が良好であれば点火時期は正常である。
Start the engine, then confirm the engine speed and AC generator rotor marks.
When the engine speed is below 3000 rpm, the F mark should be aligned with the
matching mark on the crankcase.
When the engine speed is approximately 3500 rpm, the F mark will begin to move,
and an angle of retardation is initiated.
When the engine speed is approximately 6000 rpm, the retard mark should be
within alignment range of the matching tag on the crankcase.
If each of the above checks are good, then ignition timing is normal.

＜低速と加速の状態＞
<Low speed and acceleration condition>
調整はエンジン暖機完了後に行う。また、トランスミッションギヤをニュートラルにし、
車体を垂直にした状態とする。
オーバーホール後の調整はエアスクリュ調整の後に行う。
Tuning should be carried out after the engine is completely warmed up.
Also, the transmission should be in neutral and the vehicle should be held in
a vertical position.
Tuning after an overhaul should be carried out after adjusting the air screw.
エンジンを始動し、エンジン回転計を取付ける。
スロットルストップスクリュを回して、規定のアイドリング回転数に調整する。
Start the engine and fit an engine tachometer.
Turn the throttle stop screw and adjust to the specified idling rpm.
アイドリング回転数：１３００＋/ー１００rpm
Idling rpm: 1300+/-100 rpm
アイドリング回転が不安定、または軽くスナッピングした場合に、回転にイキツキが起る場合は、
エアスクリュ調整（->１０ー１１頁）を行う。
If idling rotation is unstable or jerkiness occurs when lighting revving,
the air screw should be adjusted. (See page 10-11)
