＜ストップライト（制動灯）＞

ブレーキペダルの高さ、遊びの調整後に行う。
Carry out after adjusting brake pedal height and play.
リヤブレーキが効き始める少し前にストップランプが点灯することを点検する。
調整はアジャストナットを回して行う。
Check that the brake light comes on just before the rear brake begins effect.
To adjust, turn the adjuster nut.
フロントブレーキライトスイッチは調整の必要はない。
The front brake light switch does not need adjusting.

＜マフラのカーボン除去＞
<Muffler carbon removal>
マフラが熱くなる為、素手で触れないよう注意する。
作業は通気が良く、可燃物のない場所で行う。
防じん眼鏡を着用する。
排出されたカーボン、水等がタイヤに付着しないよう、ウエス等でカバーすること。
Since the muffler becomes hot, be careful not to touch it with bare hands.
Carry out this operation in a place with good ventilation and with no
flammable materials around.
Wear dust goggles.
Cover the tire with a rag or similar to prevent discharged carbon, water, etc
from sticking to it.
ボルトを外し、ドレンプレートとガスケットを取外す。
Remove the bolt, then remove the drainplate and gasket.

排気口をウェス等でふさいでエンジンを始動し、マフラ内部のカーボンを除去する。
Start the engine with a rag or similar blocking the exhaust port, and carbon
from inside the muffler will be expelled.
マフラにバーナ等で強く熱を加えないこと。
Do not use any sort of burner to apply strong heat to the muffler.
ガスケットとドレンプレートを取付ける。
Refit the gasket and drainplate.
